The Sunflower Session is a gentle program for 4 - 6 year olds to learn the alphabet through the gentle method of storytelling. Children are invited to stay an extra hour on Wednesdays from 1-2pm, and over 8 months (Oct - May), children will be taught each letter of the alphabet through a nature-themed story.  The children will then create drawings of the story, practice writing the letter and sounding it out, and then play with playdough. One letter will be dedicated to each Wednesday Sunflower Session.

At the end of the school year, each child will bring home their very own beautiful lesson book filled with their drawings and letters, along with a bundle of 100% beeswax crayons and a graphite pencil.

Children are welcome to join the Sunflower Session for multiple years in a row!
