The Sunflower Session is a kindergarten prep program for 4 - 6 year olds to learn the alphabet through the lovely and gentle method of storytelling. Children are invited to stay an extra hour on Wednesdays from 1-2pm, and over 8 months (Oct - May), children will be taught each letter of the alphabet through a nature-themed story. We will create drawings of the story, practice writing the letter and sounding it out, and molding the letter with beeswax or playdough. One letter will be dedicated to each Wednesday Sunflower Session.

At the end of the school year, each child will bring home their very own beautiful lesson book filled with their drawings and letters, along with their tin of beeswax crayons, and a handmade wool pouch filled with colored pencils.

Children are welcome to join the Sunflower Session for multiple years in a row!
