Parent-Toddler Playgroup is a gentle program for children 12 months - 3 years old, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Playgroup offers a wonderful opportunity to meet new families, make new friends, and join a Waldorf-inspired playgroup.

Playgroup is taught by an Early Childhood Teacher with a Waldorf Teaching Certificate, with the daily rhythm inspired by the gentle principles of Waldorf education. Young children thrive on rhythm and predictability. Each Playgroup follows the same familiar rhythm, week after week. Free Play, songs, verses, a puppet play story, a snack of muffins and warm rose tea - all unfold in the same order at each playgroup, so toddlers know exactly what to expect and their nervous systems can settle. Through this gentle repetition, the songs and verses become well-known, and children begin to confidently join in. This sense of safety is what allows young children to explore, play, imagine and to be fully present in the experience of Playgroup.

Playgroup meets once a week, and is held in 6-week sessions each season: Fall, Holiday, and Spring.

Two playgroups are held each season.
