The Haven Preschool is owned and taught by RhaeAnna Haven (Ms.Rhae - pronounced "ray"). Ms.Rhae has known since the young age of 6 years old that she was meant to be a teacher. She is overjoyed to be fulfilling her dream!

Ms.Rhae is a Certified Early Childhood Waldorf Teacher, and carries her BA in Human Development through Antioch University. Ms.Rhae taught at Whatcom Hills Waldorf School for 5 years, before opening her own Waldorf-inspired in-home preschool program in 2022. She is trained and certified in Red Cross CPR and First Aid, and background checked and fingerprinted through the State of Washington Department for Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). Ms.Rhae is a DCYF Childcare Director and Childcare Provider.

Ms.Rhae is also a volunteer facilitator for The Moon Nest - a circle for mamas of toddlers, held once a month at the Whatcom Family Village.

Ms.Rhae has two children of her own: a 7 year old (Everly) and a 3 year old (River). In her spare time, Ms.Rhae enjoys exploring local trails and beaches, traveling to nearby islands, and crafting little treasures at home.
